Tragic Bus Accident in Kullu: 3 Dead, 39 Injured After Bus Falls Into Gorge
The bus, which was traveling from Karsog, was carrying a total of 42 passengers when the accident occurred. Eyewitnesses reported that the bus lost control after its belt broke, causing the vehicle to plummet into the gorge. The intensity of the accident was so severe that the bus was completely wrecked, and local residents could hear screams from the crash site.
Immediate Rescue Operations
Upon hearing the crash, local villagers rushed to the scene and began rescue efforts immediately. Many injured passengers were quickly transported to nearby hospitals, which helped save several lives. The driver of the bus tragically died at the scene, while two other passengers succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital.
Victims and Casualties
The Kullu Superintendent of Police, Karthikeyan Gokulchandran, confirmed the details, revealing that out of the 42 passengers, three have been confirmed dead, while 39 have been injured, some critically. The injured are currently being provided medical treatment in local hospitals.

Local authorities have assured the victims’ families of all possible assistance and have initiated a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident.
