Paid Blue Ticks By META in 2023 ?

On Sunday, the CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg announced that soon the verified tags or the blue ticks will become paid. This means Meat is also about to start a subscription service similar to Twitter. The monthly subscription service will be called Meta verified (similar to Twitter verified). 

VERIFICATION 

The verification of an ID will be done by using a government ID and a fee of $11.99 amount to be paid. The meta subscription will be for both Instagram and Facebook. 

This subscription will also provide extra security service against the impersonation of the

user ID.

The service is 1st said to be launched in Australia and New Zealand by the end of this week. After that, the service will be enrolled in other countries. 

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENT

The CEO, Mark Zuckerberg also announced the launch of various tools to empower creators on Instagram and Facebook. This is said to be another way of revenue by Meta.
