Shimla – The Himachal Pradesh Electricity Board has relaunched its e-KYC process for electricity meters across Shimla district, covering the city and surrounding areas. With the deadline fast approaching on December 31, residents are urged to complete the process as soon as possible to avoid losing access to government benefits and concessions tied to their electricity usage.

To make the e-KYC process as accessible as possible, electricity board employees will visit homes across Shimla to assist with the procedure. For added convenience, consumers also have the option to visit their nearest electricity sub-division office to complete the verification themselves.
