This is not a scheme that has been recently introduced, but it is rather an old one, where when you adopt a stray, you get the benefit mentioned above.

A member of the truck union who was aware of the fact that owing a stray comes with a lot of freebies: Hey do you know how to get rid of your garbage bills, Get free parking in all MC Parking bays in Shimla?
Mr. Khosla, resident of Krishna Nagar, expressed a sense of curiosity over his friends’ statement in the Truck Union who reminded him of the fact of getting freebies in respect to having strays at his home.
The next day he comes, with a smiling face, confident of the fact that he owes almost a dozen of strays, a few living outside his house, which is already houseful. Amongst neighbours, he tells, who certainly don’t like the mess that all these furry friends make, somehow eventually accept them as a part of the community. This is their friendliness, their joy which is natural and priceless.
This brings out him with his Baisakhis(him being paralyzed) to the State Veterinary Office to the VPHO , Rahul Negi. He adopts almost 7 Strays dogs who are registered and in return he has been sanctioned a letter which has yet to be stamped by the concerned officer offering him these two services available for him for an year.
 Talking with me, the reporter he makes me remind of the schemes which we forget to avail, which are surely designed as an commodity, human mind would surely indulge in, but, exactly beneficial for the world, to exist.
