Mandi: Teacher at Bharari Sujao-Piplu School Suspended After Molestation Allegations, Obscene Recordings Found

Mandi, November 18: A teacher molested students of the school where his own daughter studies. This shocking incident is of Bharari Sujao-piplu school under Dharmpur subdivision of Mandi district. Sanjeev Kumar, posted as a Shastri teacher in the school, has been accused by some students of the same school of molesting and talking obscenely on the phone.

These students also have recordings of the teacher’s obscene talk. When the teacher started crossing his limits, these students told the whole thing to the school’s principal Bhola Dutt Kashyap. The principal immediately handed over the matter to the school’s sexual harassment committee and the students also put forth their views before this committee and played the call recording.

The students told in their statement that the teacher molests them on the pretext of checking the copies and talks obscenely on the phone. After this, the sexual harassment committee complained about it to the police. The police immediately reached the school and recorded the statements of the students. But before the police reached the school, the accused teacher had fled from here.

DSP Dharampur Sanjeev Sood has confirmed the case. He said that the police have registered a case and the search for the accused is on. The accused will be arrested soon. On the other hand, the education department has also taken immediate action and suspended the accused teacher. Deputy Director of Elementary Education Mandi, Vijay Gupta has confirmed the suspension of the teacher. He said that a departmental inquiry will also be set up against the teacher.

The accused’s daughter studies in the same school

It is also surprising that the teacher on whom the students have accused of molestation, his own daughter is a student of class 12th in the same school. The accused’s son is also a student of class 8th in the same school. There is a discussion among the people that how did the teacher think of doing such a disgusting act with students like his daughter. The people of the area have demanded strict action against the accused teacher.
