Mahindra records highest ever sales in October 2024, registering a 25% YoY growth

Mahindra Auto recorded its highest ever sales of 54,504 SUVs in October 2024. The month was anticipated to be a chartbuster for the auto market, and it looks like it will be. The month of October started with Navratri and ended with Diwali. The massive surge in Mahindra’s SUV sales has helped the brand register a robust 25 per cent YoY growth compared to the same month last year. The Indian automaker also recorded its highest ever sales of 96,648 units in October 2024, including commercial vehicles and exports. Domestic sales of commercial vehicles stood at 28812.

According to Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., “We are excited to report the highest ever SUV sales of 54504 vehicles in October, a growth of 25%, and highest ever total sales of 96648, a growth of 20%. The month started on a great note, with the Thar Rocks garnering 1.7 lakh bookings in the first 60 minutes and the positive momentum in the SUV portfolio continuing during the festive season.”

The Mahindra Thar Rocks is the newest car in the company’s line-up. It has received a warm welcome from the audience. The SUV managed to garner a total of 1.67 lakh bookings within the first hour of opening bookings. Apart from this, other products from the company are registering high numbers in their respective segments. The automaker’s Indian line-up includes the Thar, Thar Rocks, Scorpio Classic, Scorpio-N, Bolero, Bolero Neo, XUV700, XUV400, and XUV3XO.
