Terror of leopard in Mandi city, captured in CCTV roaming fearlessly in the courtyard of the house
A leopard is roaming fearlessly in the city and is continuously preying on dogs. The leopard has preyed on half a dozen pet dogs in the city since the last one month. These days the leopard has created terror in Ramanbar and Sanyardi wards of Mandi city.
Mandi, September 16: A leopard is roaming fearlessly in the city and is continuously preying on dogs. The leopard has preyed on half a dozen pet dogs in the city since the last one month. These days the leopard has created terror in Ramanbar and Sanyardi wards of Mandi city. In Pulgharat of the city, the pictures of this leopard have been captured in the CCTV camera installed outside the house of Sanjay Kumar, a driver working in HRTC.
In the video recorded in the CCTV camera, this leopard is seen comfortably reaching the courtyard of the house and doing recce. Due to which the local residents have become terrified and are worried about their family, especially children. Local people told that this leopard has taken away half a dozen of their pet dogs. They say that Pulgharaj is a populated area adjacent to the city, so people have to go and come to the city day and night.
People come and go even in the dark of night, due to which they are always at risk of leopard. People have requested the forest department to set up a cage to catch the leopard and leave it in the forest away from the residential area.
