Himachal: 30-year-old woman dies in IGMC due to jackal bite

Sangrah, September 10: A woman resident of village Charna, which comes under Nohradhar tehsil of sub-division Sangrah, has died due to jackal bite. The woman died during treatment at IGMC Shimla.

According to the information, Nisha Devi, wife of Jagmohan, resident of Charna, had gone to the forest to graze cattle last Saturday. During this, jackals (argal) suddenly attacked the woman. Nisha, who was seriously injured by the attack of jackals, was immediately taken to Rajgarh Hospital by her family, where the doctors, seeing her critical condition, referred her to IGMC Shimla.

The woman was undergoing treatment at IGMC, but her condition deteriorated and she died. There is a wave of mourning in village Charna after this tragic incident. The husband of the deceased woman told that when his wife had gone to graze cattle in the forest, jackals suddenly attacked her. Initially her condition was fine, but later her health suddenly deteriorated. Nisha died during treatment after reaching Shimla. The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem at IGMC. There is a wave of mourning in the entire area due to this incident.
