Himachal: Woman dies due to lightning
A tragic incident has come to light in Saniyo village of Rajgarh subdivision of Sirmaur district. Where a woman has died due to lightning during heavy rain.
Rajgarh, August 29: A tragic incident has come to light in Saniyo village of Rajgarh subdivision of Sirmaur district. Where a woman has died due to lightning during heavy rain.
According to the information, the incident happened around 7:30 am. Padma Devi (wife of Narendra) was seriously injured when lightning struck the house during the rain. After the incident, she was immediately taken to Civil Hospital Rajgarh, where doctors declared her dead.
On receiving the information, Deputy Pradhan Naveen Sharma informed the local administration about the incident. Tehsildar Umesh Sharma reached the spot and provided immediate relief of 25 thousand to the victim’s family. The body of the deceased has been sent to Rajgarh Hospital for post-mortem and an FIR has been registered. There is a wave of mourning in the area due to the tragic incident.
