Una, August 29: A case of rape of a newly married woman of the Una district by a Delhi based businessman has come to light. On the basis of the statement of the victim, the police have registered a case of rape against the accused and started investigating the matter.

In her statement to the police, the victim said that after completing her education from Punjab University, she went to Delhi to take coaching.

In Delhi, she came in contact with the accused Harbans Chaudhary. As she did not like his intentions, she immediately left the job with Harbans Chaudhary and came back home. But Harbans Chaudhary continued to contact her.

Citing her safety, he called the victim back to work with him. Where he immediately increased the salary of the victim by Rs 20,000 per month and started giving her a salary of Rs 50,000 per month.

Meanwhile, he also arranged a flat for the victim. While in this flat, the accused forcibly had physical relations with the victim. After this, he started making the victim a victim of his lust by constantly threatening to make her obscene photos viral.

Meanwhile, the victim’s family arranged her marriage, while after marriage she went to Canada with her husband. But the accused did not leave her alone there too and forced her husband to return to India by saying that she had sent obscene pictures of her.

The victim told that immediately after reaching New Delhi Airport, the accused came to pick her up and forcibly had physical relations with her. While on reaching her maternal home, the accused reached her house with a car with Haryana number and took her to the religious place Peernigah in the car, there also the accused committed the heinous act of raping the victim.

The victim told that now the accused is constantly pressurizing her to leave her husband and work for him and is blackmailing her to send her photos and videos to her husband.

Superintendent of Police Rakesh Singh confirmed the case and said that the police have registered a case against Harbans Chaudhary, a resident of Delhi.
