The issue of Kangana Ranaut’s statement raised in the assembly, the ruling party brought a censure motion in the House

Shimla, August 27: There was a lot of uproar in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly over Kangana Ranaut’s statement. The opposition across the country is trying to corner the BJP over Kangana Ranaut’s comment on the Haryana farmers’ movement. On the first day of the monsoon session of the Assembly, the ruling party brought a censure motion in the House over Kangana Ranaut’s statement and called the statement an insult to the farmers. Although the Assembly Speaker did not accept it after not receiving the proposal in writing, the ruling and opposition parties also raised slogans against each other over the statement.

CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu called Kangana Ranaut’s statement an insult to the farmers and said that no one has the right to insult the food provider. The Congress party has also condemned this statement and the Parliamentary Affairs Minister had also brought a censure motion inside the House. The BJP has also distanced itself from Kangana Ranaut’s statement. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that Kangana Ranaut should make her comments thoughtfully.
