Rajgarh police station in-charge Inspector Ravinder Lal dies, wave of mourning in police department

Rajgarh/Sirmaur, 27 August: News has been received of the death of Rajgarh police station in-charge Inspector Ravinder Lal in IGMC Shimla in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Born on 29 July 1967, Ravinder Lal was posted as police station in-charge in Rajgarh of Sirmaur district. Inspector Ravinder Lal was originally a resident of Kharsi village, Post Office-Badhalag, Tehsil Kasauli (Solan). It is being told that Inspector Ravinder Lal was suffering from cancer, he was also undergoing treatment. Despite this, he remained diligent and dedicated towards his duty.

Ravinder Lal started his service as a constable in the Police Department in the year 1988. He reached the post of Inspector on the strength of his hard work and dedication. He served in Solan, Shimla and Sirmaur districts. After which he was working as SHO of Rajgarh police station from May 2023. In 2024 itself, he was promoted to the post of Inspector. Due to his work style and dedication, he was highly respected among his colleagues and higher officials.

Additional Superintendent of Police, Sirmaur, Yogesh Rolta said that Inspector Ravinder Lal always gave priority to discipline and dedication in his career. His death has caused a great loss to the police department.

The last rites were performed in his native village Kharsi on Monday. DSP Rajgarh Vidya Chand Negi paid tribute to the martyred inspector and expressed condolences to the family. Ravinder Lal has left behind a legacy as an ideal, which will continue to inspire his colleagues and other personnel of the department in times to come. Both his life and service are an example of dedication and devotion.
