Solan, August 10: On Saturday morning, a Haryana Roadways bus (HR39GV-2359) was going from Shimla to Hisar via Chandigarh, which narrowly escaped a major accident near Tamboo More. The bus went out of control, broke the railing of the road and collided with an electric pole.
There were about 20 passengers on board the bus, including driver Sajjan, conductor Satendra. Thankfully, there was no loss of life in this accident. All the passengers are said to be safe. Immediately after the incident, Parwanoo police station in-charge Vikas and his team reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
The incident happened around 10 am. The bus was going from Shimla to Hisar via Chandigarh. Due to the driver’s presence of mind and the bus getting stuck to the electric pole, a major accident was averted. According to officials, the condition of all the passengers is stable and arrangements are being made to enable them to complete their journey by other means.
