All super specialty OPDs will be shifted from IGMC to Chamiyana from August 12

Shimla, August 06: OPDs of all super specialty departments will be shifted to Atal Super Specialty Institute Chamiyana from August 12. In a joint press conference at IGMC Hospital on Tuesday, hospital’s MS Dr. Rahul Rao, Chamiyana Hospital Principal Dr. Brij Sharma and Chamiyana Hospital’s MS Dr. Sudhir Sharma said that from August 12, no OPD of super specialty department will be held in IGMC. All OPDs will be shifted to Chamiyana. However, emergency services and operations will continue in IGMC.

Dr. Brij Sharma of Chamiyana Hospital said that emergency services and operations of super specialty departments will continue in IGMC Hospital. Apart from this, whatever routine OPD will be there, it will now be in Chamiyana Hospital only. He said that by the last week of September, apart from OPD, all super specialty departments will be completely shifted to Chamiyana Hospital.

Chamiyana Hospital has super specialty departments from Indira Gandhi Medical College Shimla including Neuro Surgery, Cardiology, Gastrology, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Nephrology, Endocrinology Surgery etc.
