Shimla, July 12: Himachal Pradesh Government’s Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh chaired a meeting with senior officials of National Highway Authority of India, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and Public Works Department.

This preliminary meeting was organised as issues related to National Highway projects of Himachal Pradesh are going to be discussed with the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on July 16.

Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh reviewed the progress work of National Highways and directed the officials to get the damaged National Highways repaired immediately. He also directed to complete the construction work of Bhubhu Jot Tunnel soon, so that it can be dedicated for public welfare soon.

In the upcoming meeting with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India on July 16, the action to be taken on various highways and projects of Himachal Pradesh and the problems related to them will be discussed.

On this occasion, Principal Secretary Devesh Kumar, Special Secretary Harbans Singh Brascon and Regional Officer of National Highways Authority of India Abdul Basit and Regional Officer of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways Sanjay Waghchure and other officers were present.
