Shimla News: HPTDC MD Rajeev Kumar suddenly visited the kitchen of Goofa Ashiana Restaurant at night for surprise inspection, show cause notice issued to 6 employees

Shimla, July 12: Managing Director (MD) of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, Rajiv Kumar, on Thursday night conducted a surprise inspection of Goofa Ashiana Restaurant located on the Ridge in Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla.During the surprise inspection, the Managing Director of HPTDC found many flaws in Goofa Ashiana Restaurant. Although Rajiv Kumar is a calm and gentle officer, this is the first time he was seen in such a strict manner. The video of the inspection of Goofa Ashiana Restaurant has also come to light. Three workers were found without caps in the kitchen of Goofa Ashiana Restaurant. On which the MD ordered the officials to issue a show cause notice to the kitchen in-charge of Goofa Ashiana Restaurant for negligence in duty.
During the inspection, the MD of HPTDC found three workers sitting on chairs and using mobile phones in Ashiana Fast Food Cafe, whereas they should have been alert to serve the customers.
On this, the MD ordered the officials to issue a show cause notice to the in-charge of Ashiana Fast Food Cafe. Also, he instructed to send the video recording of the inspection to the office so that action can be taken against those who are negligent.
