Fake kidnapping
Solan, June 24: Fake kidnapping has been exposed by Solan District Police Administration Special Team. Abhay Goyal, a resident of Kathed Bypass, Solan district, has lodged a report with the Sadar Police Station In-charge, Solan District that on the evening of June 23, 2024, at around 6:30 pm, a message was received on WhatsApp from one of his friends from the mobile number of his brother Aman Goyal.
It was clearly written in the WhatsApp message that tell Aman Goyal’s father that Aman Goyal is with them and within an hour Aman Goyal’s father should transfer Rs 1,00,000.
Along with this, the WhatsApp message also threatened to face serious consequences if Solan Police is informed.
Apart from this, a photo of Aman Goyal was also sent in the same WhatsApp message, in which Aman Goyal was shown unconscious.
Complainant Abhay Goyal told the Sadar police station in-charge that his brother Aman Goyal runs a bakery shop. On June 23, his brother Aman Goyal left home alone to go to the Shoolini fair, but his brother Aman Goyal has not returned home yet.From the message received through WhatsApp, it was clear to complainant Abhay Goyal that his brother Aman Goyal had been kidnapped by some unknown person.
Sadar Police Station in-charge took immediate action after registering the report of complainant Abhay Goyal and examined the CCTV footage installed in Solan city and technical investigation of the mobile and connections of complainant Abhay Goyal’s brother Aman Goyal was done.
On the basis of initial investigation, a special team has been formed by the Sadar Police Station in-charge.

While tracing the mobile location of complainant Abhay Goyal’s brother Aman Goyal, missing Aman Goyal was recovered alone by the special team from the road near a gurudwara near Shahpur in Haryana.
During the interrogation conducted by the special team, complainant Abhay Goyal’s missing brother Aman Goyal told that he works in a bakery and was upset due to business problems and differences with the family and he was in dire need of money, so he hatched a false conspiracy of his kidnapping.
The missing brother of complainant Abhay Goyal, Aman Goyal, told the special team that first of all he reached Kalka alone by HRTC bus and took his photo through selfie in the toilet of the bus stand there and sent it to his brother Abhay Goyal. After this, he boarded a bus and reached Shahpur in Haryana.
The investigation of the special team also found that Aman Goyal had hatched a false conspiracy of his kidnapping due to business stress of his bakery and need of money.
The Sadar Police Station in-charge has started legal action against Aman Goyal who hatched a false conspiracy of his fake kidnapping and the matter is being investigated.
