The Election Commission has announced the dates for by-elections on three seats of Himachal Pradesh Assembly.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 10 :The Election Commission has announced the dates for by-elections on three seats of Himachal Pradesh Assembly.Let us tell you that the election process is going to be held under by-election in Dehra Assembly Constituency, Nalagarh Assembly Constituency and Hamirpur Assembly Constituency of Himachal Pradesh.
The Election Commission is going to issue notification for by-election on three seats of Himachal Pradesh Assembly on June 14, after which the nomination process will be done till June 21, the nomination papers received till June 24 will be scrutinized and June 26 has been kept as the date for withdrawal of nomination papers.
After that, by-election voting will be held on three seats of Himachal Pradesh Assembly on Wednesday, July 10 and counting of all votes will be done on July 13. The Election Commission has said that the voting process for by-elections on three seats of Himachal Pradesh Assembly will be completed before July 15, 2024.
By-elections are being held on three assembly seats in Himachal Pradesh due to the acceptance of resignations of independent MLAs.
