Shimla: Polling party reached 1058 polling stations of eight assembly constituencies of capital Shimla to conduct successful voting.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, May 31All preparations have been completed in the eight assembly constituencies of the capital Shimla for the voting of the Lok Sabha elections on Saturday, June 1 in Himachal Pradesh.

Let us tell you that 1058 polling stations have been set up for voting in the eight assembly constituencies of Shimla district, which also include 16 highly sensitive polling stations.

To conduct the voting successfully, the polling party has been sent to their respective destinations, and for the Shimla Urban Assembly constituency, the polling party has been sent from Portmore School on Friday.

SP Shimla District Police Administration Sanjeev Gandhi said that polling parties have been sent with EVMs to all 1058 polling stations in Shimla district.

Sanjeev Gandhi said that to ensure fair and peaceful polling in all the eight assembly constituencies of Shimla district, tight security arrangements have been made in all the 1058 polling booths and police personnel have been deployed with every polling party.

Sanjeev Gandhi said that all vehicles are being checked in the border areas and CCTV cameras are also being used to keep a close watch on every activity.
