The ‘TCS AI for Business Study’ report states that 69 per cent of businesses in India are focusing more on using AI to drive innovation and revenue rather than improving their productivity and reducing costs.
Business leaders are increasingly positive and aware of the growing use and impact of AI, with 57 percent feeling “enthusiastic” or “optimistic” about the use of AI.
The report found 45 percent of executives expect many of their employees to become proficient in the use of generative AI (GenAI) tools within the next three years.
Also, according to 41 percent of executives, Generative AI (GenAI) may have to be adopted by all employees.
According to 65 percent of the executives included in the report, AI itself needs a lot of improvement, so that employees can be motivated and proficient in the use of AI.
Officials said that the year 2023 has been a futuristic era for AI in which every enterprise has experimented with the use of AI/GenAI tools.
In the year 2024, AI will be even more influential and will enter a new era.
