According to sources in the Congress Party High Command, the Congress Party has fielded Anand Sharma from Kangra Lok Sabha only after the consent of all the top leaders of the state, to strengthen the scattered Congress in Himachal Pradesh.

Let us tell you that Anand Sharma is from the capital Shimla and has also been the Deputy Leader of Congress in Rajya Sabha. Anand Sharma’s politics is as a national leader because he was the Union Minister in former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh’s UPA-1 and UPA-2. He has also been a Rajya Sabha MP twice each from Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan.
