Himachal: Due to a small argument, the son poured petrol on his own father and set him on fire.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Hamirpur, April 26: In Ghulera village of Bhoranj police station in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh, a son poured petrol on his father and set him on fire during an argument.

The victim’s father reached Bhoranj police station in-charge and registered a case against his son and demanded strict action.

Raghuveer Singh of Ghulera village told Bhoranj police station in-charge that he had scolded his son Pammu on the lines of being a father over a small matter.

But Pammu overpowered him and drenched him with the petrol bottle kept in the house and set him on fire, after which the family members got him first aid done at Bhoranj Hospital and from there after being referred to Hamirpur Hospital, due to his deteriorating condition, he was referred to Tanda Medical College.

Bhoranj police station in-charge has registered a case and arrested his son Pammu and is being seriously interrogated.

Hamirpur District Police Administration Superintendent Padam Chand said that Bhoranj police is taking action in the entire matter.
