DC Kangra: Only voter awareness songs will be played during IPL matches in Dharamshala, Bollywood songs will be banned.

District Election Officer Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa said that according to the latest information, reports have been received of youth being present in large numbers during IPL matches, due to which selfie points will be made in all the parking lots and outside the stadium.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Dharamshala, April 21: With the upcoming IPL matches to be held on 5th and 9th May at Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, a unique initiative has been taken by Kangra District Election to increase voting.

Kangra District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa said that people from India and abroad will come during the two IPL matches to be held at Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, Due to which voters are going to be made aware under sweep activities to further strengthen the voting festival of India.

District Election Officer Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa said that according to the latest information, reports have been received of youth being present in large numbers during IPL matches, due to which selfie points will be made in all the parking lots and outside the stadium.

Also, instead of Bollywood and party songs, the DJ will play only voter awareness songs.
