HPUBS Shimla: One Week Workshop On Research Methodology and Data Analysis in Management Successfully Concludes

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Summerhill (Shimla), March 24: The Himachal Pradesh University Business School (HPUBS) successfully concluded a week-long workshop on“Research Methodology and Data Analysis in Management” with a vibrant closing session held at the HPUBS campus in Shimla on 24th March 2024.
The closing session witnessed the esteemed presence of key dignitaries including the Controller of Examination Prof. Shaym Lal Kaushal, Director HPUBS Prof. Dinesh Sharma, and esteemed faculty members. Their presence underscored the commitment of HPUBS to fostering academic excellence and research advancement in the field of management.
Throughout the week, the workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation of 35 research scholars from the various departments of Himachal Pradesh University and neighboring universities.
During the workshop 13 research experts including Dr. J. S. Parmar, Dr. Sanjeet Sharma, Dr. S. N. Ghosh, Dr. N. S. Bist, Dr. Devinder Sharma, Dr. P. L. Verma, Dr. Vinod Negi, Dr. Puneet Bhushan, Dr. Sahil Raj, Dr. Harpreet Singh Dr. Amit Shrivastava, and Dr. Tejinderpal Singh delivered lectures of different concepts of research methodology and different methods used for data analysis such as Parametric and Non-Parametric Tests, SEM, Regression Analysis, and Qualitative Data Analysis. Under the guidance of Dr. Puneet Bhushan, the organizing secretary, and Dr. Vinod Negi, the workshop coordinator, participants engaged in interactive learning sessions aimed at enhancing their research skills and analytical acumen.

The closing session provided an opportunity to reflect on the knowledge gained and the experiences shared during the workshop. Participants expressed their gratitude for the valuable insights gained and the opportunity to network with peers and experts in the field.
