Himachal Politics: CM Sukhvinder Sukhu Said – Freezing Congress’s Bank Accounts Is A Violation Of Democratic Values.

In a joint press conference, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that as soon as the Lok Sabha elections come, the BJP adopts all kinds of tactics to gain power. Congress’s bank accounts have been frozen. This kind of action is not right at the time of elections. BJP feels that it will regain power by adopting such tactics.

CM Sukhu said that this is a violation of democratic values. Congress strongly opposes this. Congress is not going to be scared of this. CM Sukhu asked why the independent MLAs resigned, did they resign on the basis of currency notes? This is playing with public sentiments. The public believes that toppling the elected government is not in the interest of democracy. On the Kejriwal case, he said that putting a Chief Minister behind bars in this manner is not right for democracy. At the same time, Himachal Pradesh President Pratibha Singh said that freezing the bank accounts of Congress is a very serious matter.
