Kangra News: Family Members Create Ruckus Over Youth’s Death, Protest At Majheen Chowk

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Jawalamukhi (Kangra), March 21: The family members created a ruckus on Thursday over the suspicious death of a 32-year-old youth in Kangra district. Family members and villagers have demonstrated at Majheen Chowk and demanded a fair investigation from the Jawalamukhi Police. A young man died under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday under police station Jawalamukhi. Jawalamukhi police have registered a case and started investigation into the cause of death. Jawalamukhi police is also investigating the case from the angle of suicide. In fact, on Wednesday, a young man was found injured in the fields on Amb Ghatta-Tihri road. The injured person has been identified as Chaman Lal (32), son of Purna Chand, resident of Bhatal, Sialkar. Chaman Lal had come to his relatives’ house in Amb Pathiar on Tuesday and was staying there at his relatives’ house at night.

On Wednesday morning, Chaman Lal was found bleeding at some distance from his relative’s house. The local people informed the Jawalamukhi Police about this entire sentence and the Jawalamukhi Police reached the spot and inquired about the matter. Jawalamukhi police reached the spot and took the person to Civil Hospital Jawalamukhi by ambulance. Meanwhile, considering the critical condition, the injured person has been referred to Tanda Hospital after first aid. The young man died during treatment in Tanda Hospital. Whether it is murder or suicide is not known yet. Jawalamukhi DSP RP Jaswal said that nothing can be said in this matter right now, as the person was unable to give a statement. Jawalamukhi Police is engaged in investigation.
