Una's Satish Sharma Wins North India Half Marathon By Defeating More Than 1000 Runners

By achieving this position, Satish Sharma has brought glory to the entire Una district as well as Himachal Pradesh. DC Una Jatin Lal has welcomed promising player Satish Sharma on his best performance.
In the seventh NLF Half Marathon 2024 recently held at Stadium Naya Nangal Punjab, Satish Kumar Sharma, resident of Madanpur Basauli, has secured the first position in the 10 kilometer race in the age group of 55 to 65, beating the national level runners.
Master athlete Satish Sharma Said That, DC Una Jatin Lal welcomed and congratulated him on this achievement. More than 1000 runners from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Haryana participated in this seventh NLF Half Marathon 2024.

Master athlete Satish Sharma has achieved the co-achievement by defeating runners of his age group less than eight years. Satish Sharma has retired as Superintendent from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. Shashi Vala, wife of master athlete Satish Sharma, is a housewife. While master athlete Satish Sharma son Hemant Sharma is studying BDS in Shimla.
Master athlete Satish Sharma practices by running 10 to 12 kilometers every day and also works in his garden regularly for two hours. Master athlete Satish Sharma is now dreaming of being a part of the National Half Marathon. While the runners in Stadium Naya Nangal were running on the synthetic track wearing sports shoes, Satish Sharma of Una was running on the track wearing ordinary shoes. But the hard work of master athlete Satish Sharma still paid off.
