The opposition party is attacking the Modi government at the Center regarding CAA. Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Minister Chander Kumar has also targeted the central government regarding CAA. He has termed CAA as politics of dividing the country. He has also accused BJP of deploying RSS preachers in big institutions.

Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Minister Chander Kumar said that it is unfortunate to implement CAA in the country. People of all religions live in this country, when this law was passed in the Parliament, the Gurudwara was attacked in Afghanistan. BJP national president JP Nadda reached there and returned with two Sardars. JP Nadda arrived with the holy book on his head and three Sardars had to take citizenship of the country. For this reason, a law was made to give citizenship to non-Muslims from Muslim countries.

Agriculture Minister Chander Kumar said that in 1947, some people went to Pakistan and some people from Pakistan came to India and they still have relations in both the countries and if they want to take Indian citizenship, then what is the harm in it. But only Christian, Sikh and Hindu have been made provision to get Indian citizenship under this law. Only Muslims cannot come here, if Muslims also want to take citizenship of this country then what is the harm in it. He said that BJP’s politics has always been one of division. BJP has been doing politics in the name of religion and the foundation of BJP has been on religion only.
