Himachal News: Gift To Thousands of Daily Wage Earners and Part-Timers, Daily Wage Rates Revised
All the new revised rates are to be considered effective from April 1, 2024. A notification regarding the revised rates has been issued by the Himachal Finance Department on Monday.
Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 04: Thousands of daily wage earners and part-timers of Himachal Pradesh have been given a big gift by the Sukhu government. The daily wage rates of various categories of daily wage earners as well as part-timers have been revised by the Sukhu Government.
All the new revised rates are to be considered effective from April 1, 2024. A notification regarding the revised rates has been issued by the Himachal Finance Department on Monday.
State part-timers have been revised to Rs 50 per hour from April 1, 2024.
Daily wage earners and part-timers in the Scheduled Tribal areas of the state are going to be given 25 percent increase on the revised daily wage. The new revised wage rates are going to be applicable to daily wage earners and part-time workers working in various government departments of the state.
On the other hand, the decision of the Himachal Government on the availability of resources is going to be implemented in the public sector undertakings, universities, autonomous institutions, boards.
