Himachal News: Himachal High Court bans Van Mitra Recruitment, Next Hearing will be held on March 7, HP Government will Present its side
The petition challenged the notification issued by the Himachal government on April 7, 2017.
Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 01: Van Mitra recruitment has been banned by Himachal Pradesh High Court till March 7.
While hearing the petition filed by Deeksha Parmar, Himachal Pradesh High Court has decided to ban the Van Mitra Recruitment till March 7.
The petition filed in the court has been defended by senior advocate Ankush Das. The petition challenged the notification issued by the Himachal government on April 7, 2017.
Under the notification, the process of conducting interviews for direct recruitment to Class III and IV posts has been abolished.
The entire case has been heard by the bench of Justice Ajay Mohan Goyal. Advocate General (AG) Anoop Ratna has appeared on behalf of Himachal government.

Himachal government has sought more time from the court in the case. The next hearing of the entire case is scheduled to be held on March 7.
Let us tell you that the Himachal Forest Department has started the process of filling 2,061 posts of Van Mitras.
For this, about 70 thousand applications have been received from across the state. After passing the ground test, deployment will be done on the basis of interview. 10 marks have been fixed for the interview.
