Himachal Breaking: Danger of Fall of Sukhu Government Averted, Budget Passed in Absence of Opposition

Shimla, February 28: Himachal Pradesh Appropriation Bill-2024 was passed in the Himachal Assembly on Wednesday in the absence of the opposition. During this period the opposition was not present in the House. With this, the danger of the government falling during the budget session of the Assembly has been averted for the time being.

As soon as the budget was passed, the Speaker adjourned the session sine die. Chief Minister Sukhu said that action should also be taken against those who snatched papers and created drama in the House. Jairam is very hungry for power. This state will not run with hooliganism. This is Devbhoomi. It is not right to scare officers. The behavior of Jairam Thakur and the opposition during the Rajya Sabha elections was not right.

Let us tell you that on February 17, Chief Minister Sukhu had presented a budget of Rs 58 thousand 444 crore for the next financial year. After passing the budget, the Sukhu government will now be able to spend this amount in the financial year starting from April 1st.
