Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the newly formed Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission is going to ensure transparency in its functioning and functioning and concrete measures for the conduct of recruitment examinations for Group-C posts. The State Government has adopted a zero tolerance policy towards corruption and changes are being made in the selection process to give priority to merit in the recruitment process as well as to curb corrupt practices. The State Selection Commission is going to set an exemplary example for other states. Recently, in the Cabinet meeting, approval has been given to make procedure and work conduct rules regarding Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission.
The Chief Minister said in Shimla on Monday that to maintain transparency in the recruitment process, the question papers are going to be set through automated process through computers while ensuring minimum human intervention. One time registration facility is going to be provided to the eligible candidates. After this they can apply online for various vacancies. Various notifications and advertisements related to vacancies will also be available to the registered candidates on the dashboard of the State Selection Commission. After receiving the application forms, the Commission will scrutinize and prepare e-admit card on the basis of their user ID.
Candidates will be able to download this e-admit card easily. Candidates will be able to enter the examination centers only after verification of the e-admit card through bar code and biometric scanning. The State Selection Commission may decide to conduct a written objective type screening test under the surveillance of CCTV cameras through online computer process. For the convenience of the candidates, Common Eligibility Test or Computer Based Test will be conducted. Online practice links will also be provided to familiarize you with the exam pattern.
