Himachal News: Three Bogie Train Set Reached Shimla From Kalka In Five And A Half Hours, Trial Successful

On Wednesday, a three bogie train set was run by the teams of Train Coach Manufacturing Company and Northern Railway Board towards the climb of Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. After that, all the deficiencies in all the three bogie train sets were rectified by the Train Coach Manufacturing Company and Was noted by all the teams of Northern Railway Board. A three bogie train set was sent from Kalka to Shimla railway station at 8:05 in the morning.

A three-bogie train set (self-propelled hydraulic multiple unit) was run for trial on the World Heritage Kalka-Shimla railway track on Wednesday. The trial of the three bogie train set has also been completed successfully. On Wednesday, the three bogie train set was run by the teams of Train Coach Manufacturing Company and Northern Railway Board for the climb to Shimla Railway Station and all the gaps were also properly repaired. The three bogie train set was sent from the World Heritage Kalka Junction towards Shimla Railway Station at 8.05 am. After about two and a quarter hours, at 10:15, the trial set with three bogies was sent from Solan Railway Station towards Shimla Railway Station. The three-bogie train set was stopped at Solan Railway Station and Shimla Railway Station by the Train Coach Manufacturing Company and Northern Railway Board due to the trains going towards Kalka Junction, after which the three-bogie train set reached Shimla at about 1:35 pm.

To remove all types of technical deficiencies from three bogie train sets, trials of three bogie trainsets are being conducted continuously. Even before this, three trials have been conducted on the World Heritage Kalka-Shimla Railway Track. Due to which, two trials from Kalka Junction to Dharampur Railway Station and one trial from Kalka Junction to Solan Railway Station have already been conducted by the Northern Railway Board, due to which all three trials have been completely successful. It is noteworthy that the narrow gauge rail line But on behalf of the Railway Ministry, all efforts are being made by the Northern Railway Board to provide world class facilities. For comfortable travel of passengers on narrow gauge rail line, the work of connecting three bogie trainsets to the rail route has also been started. The entire trial is being done by teams of engineers from Northern Railway Board. In the last nine months of the year 2023, three successful trials of three bogie train sets have been conducted. At present, even before reaching Taksal railway station, the entire engine of the three bogie train set was getting heated. After completing the entire testing process and upgradation of the Northern Railway Board, the trial process has once again been started by the Northern Railway Board technical teams.

Sixty Passengers Can Travel Easily In One Coach –

The World Heritage Kalka-Shimla train set has three coaches. Sixty passengers can easily travel in each coach. The World Heritage Kalka-Shimla Train Set is also called the Engineless Train Set, because each coach of the Kalka-Shimla train has engines installed inside it. Along with convenient seats, facilities of AC, heater, LED, display board have been provided in the Kalka-Shimla train set. All three train coaches of the train set, operated under the mode of additional option of Rail Motor Car, are interconnected with each other with a vestibule. Also, in Kalka-Shimla Heritage Train, all the passengers can easily move from one passenger coach to another without getting down from the train.

Northern Railway Board has successfully conducted the trial of three bogie train set from Kalka to Shimla on Wednesday. The fourth trial of the three bogie train set has also been successfully completed. Soon the complete report of all four trials will be prepared and sent and in the coming days also the fifth trial of Kalka-Shimla train set will be conducted.

On the other hand, the trial of Nurpur to Jogindernagar railway engine has also been successfully completed. Now Nurpur to Jogindernagar train will be started as soon as possible.
