Himachal Weather Update: Fresh Snowfall In Rohtang Kunzum Pass And Koksar

Kullu- Due to snowfall in Rohtang in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, fresh snowfall has been recorded in the entire Rohtang and Kunjum passes, along with a drop in the temperature has been observed in the entire Kullu district.
Due to the active western disturbance in the entire Himachal Pradesh, the Himachal Pradesh Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall as well as hailstorm on 7th and 8th November.
Fresh snowfall in Koksar Pass of Lahaul Spiti district –
Fresh snowfall has also been recorded in Koksar Pass of Chandraghati in Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh on Friday night due to the active western disturbance.
Along with this, there has been heavy snowfall and drop in temperature in Rohtang Pass of Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh and the entire high altitude valleys of Kunzum Pass of Kullu district have also turned white due to snow sheets.
Due to which, the temperature of all the high altitude valleys of Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh has been recorded from morning to night.
Due to continuously active drop in temperature recorded in all the valleys of Kullu District Administration and Lahaul-Spiti District Administration, water in the valleys also appeared to be frozen severely.
Due to snowfall in the valleys of Kullu district and Lahaul-Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, all the tourism businessmen of Himachal Pradesh are waiting for increase in the number of tourists and a huge increase in the number of tourists in Himachal Pradesh.
On the other hand, movement of all types of vehicles has been resumed on the Manali-Leh route. In Himachal Pradesh, on Saturday, more than forty vehicles of all types have been diverted towards Leh via Manali for movement towards Darcha.
Also, due to continuous active snowfall in Rohtang Pass of Kullu district, cold has started increasing completely in Chandraghati of Kullu district.
Along with the active Western Disturbance in Himachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh Meteorological Department Center Shimla has made complete forecast of rain and heavy snowfall along with hailstorm on November 7 and 8.
In Himachal Pradesh, there is a possibility of continuous rain and snowfall in all the middle and high altitude areas on November 7.
Also, there is a possibility of heavy snowfall and hailstorm in the valleys of all high altitude areas in Himachal Pradesh on November 8.
Due to continuous change of weather in Himachal Pradesh, minimum drop in temperature of all the districts has been recorded by Meteorological Center Shimla Headquarters.
