Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) under Himachal Pradesh Prevention of Illicit Trafficking Act-1998 to stop the ever increasing proliferation of narcotics and all narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in Himachal Pradesh Released today.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the SOP standard in Himachal Pradesh has been prepared to prevent and deal with the ever increasing smuggling of substances and all illegal drug activities.
CM Sukhu said that this SOP will help in detaining all accused drug smugglers, executing all drug trafficking orders after detention and confiscating all illegally acquired properties in Himachal Pradesh. An important decision of the detailed process has been taken by the Himachal Pradesh Government.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that smuggling of illegal drugs in Himachal Pradesh has posed a threat to the common sections of the society.
The continuously increasing drug trafficking in Himachal Pradesh has become a cause of concern for all the people of Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal Pradesh Government is adopting the best priorities to stop drug trafficking from all sections of the society.
A dedicated task force of Himachal Pradesh Police is working for the people of Himachal Pradesh to continuously prevent all types of drug related crimes in Himachal Pradesh.
In this regard, the Himachal Pradesh Government has also taken an important decision to set up a Himachal Pradesh Advisory Board to stop the ever-increasing drug trafficking.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the activities of drug mafias and smugglers in Himachal Pradesh have greatly affected the national economy of Himachal Pradesh and India.
All these illegal drug smuggling are being carried out in the most organized manner and with all these secret forms, the scale of drug mafias and smugglers is continuously increasing in Himachal Pradesh.
There is an urgent need for the Government of Himachal Pradesh to effectively stop all drug trafficking activities and arrest those involved and involved in it.
