Zonal Hospital, Mandi MS Doctor DS Verma said that both the patients are absolutely healthy due to the surgery done under Himcare Schem and are currently recovering in the hospital.

For the first time in Zonal Hospital Mandi, replacement surgery was done by Dr. Virendra Negi, our orthopedician, the day before yesterday i.e. on 27th September. In this he operated on two patients. This is a Bihari Lal, a fifty year old male.

One is a resident of Bal and the other is Mrs. Shukuntala Devi, a sixty-two year old woman who is a resident of Sarkaghat and both of them are under Himcare scheme and for the first time, this replacement surgery was done in Zonal Hospital Mandi by our orthopedician.
