Hamirpur News : After the damage caused by natural disaster in Hamirpur district, reconstruction and repair work is being done rapidly. About five and a half thousand additional shelves have been sanctioned by the district administration for these works through MNREGA.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Sanjha has said that about five hundred of these works have been started. He said that an amount of about seventy-five crore rupees is being spent on these works under MNREGA.

He said that necessary action is being taken as per the instructions of the state government for the damage caused to the houses due to land subsidence and for the rehabilitation of the homeless people.

He said – This time the decision was taken by the government that works worth up to Rs. 1 lakh can be done through MNREGA in the areas where there has been loss due to natural disaster. So, in this context, we have given orders through the shelves of all our block development officers. ordered additional shelf
We have ordered, especially in view of this natural disaster, recently we have sanctioned works worth around sixty to seventy-five crores.

Wherever there were requirements, we have approved so much of the shelf, after the approval of DC sir, we have conveyed that approval. And now if we talk about the latest, there are about five hundred to about five hundred and fifty such works which are in different blocks. Related to the ongoing natural disaster.

The district administration has estimated the loss of more than Rs 486 crore due to the disaster in Hamirpur. Due to the disaster, there has been huge damage to roads, Polo, drinking water schemes and personal property of common people.
