Solan News : Solan police has launched a special campaign to curb the deadly drug Chitta. District Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh said that the police is keeping a close watch day and night on Chitta smugglers and those who consume it.

Addressing a press conference in Solan, he said that by taking strict action under this campaign, big chitta smugglers from seventeen outside states have been arrested in a time period of one and a half months and dozens of people have been arrested for consuming and buying it. went.

Gaurav Singh urged the general public that if people suspect any involvement in this matter, they should inform the police so that the youth can be saved from this deadly drug.

He said – Sixteen police have so far arrested big smugglers, suppliers of seventeen foreign states during the last one and a half months and this includes the states of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh etc. and three African origin. Nigerian citizens are also included.
