Kangra News : Central Zoo Authority approves setting up of big zoo at Bankhandi in Kangra District

The establishment of this zoo will help in developing Kangra as a tourism capital. He said that the decision to build a big zoo in Himachal has been given after the recommendation by the technical committee of the Central Zoo Authority.
Rajeev Kumar said that this zoo to be built in Bankhandi will be equipped with world-class facilities, in which native wildlife of other areas will also be kept apart from Himachal.
He said that the purpose of setting up the big zoo is to make people aware about the importance of wildlife conservation and protecting their natural habitats.
