The state level riffle and pistal shooting competition jointly organized by Himachal Pradesh Riffle Association and the 6th Battalion of State Police located in Kolar has started.

Five hundred shooters from all over the state are participating in this three-day competition. This competition is being organized in senior and junior category. General Secretary of State Rifle Association, Rajesh Parmar has said that the winner shooter of this competition will represent Himachal at the national level.

He said that Nahan is organizing this competition at Chamba ground shooting range and Judda ka Johar shooting range. State level rifle and pistol competition is being organized by the State Rifle association.

Its organizers 6 IRB Dhaulakua and District Sirmaur Rifle Association are jointly hosting it. So far more than five hundred entries have come in this competition.

In which ten meter air rifle, air pistol in all categories junior, senior, youth, sub junior and 50 meter ranges on outdoor ranges at 0.250 meter and 0.250 meter, 25 meter pistol and trap event is being organized.

This competition qualifies for Nationals and its winning participants will later participate in the national level process.
