The state level Shoolini fair of Solan will conclude today with traditional rituals. In the last cultural evening of the closing ceremony, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla will participate as the chief guest.
On the third day of the fair, wrestling will also be the center of attraction for the people. Earlier, on the second day of the fair, various sports competitions and historical little dances played from the time of Kauravas and Pandavas were the center of attraction for the people.
Significantly, the name of Thodu Maidan was also derived from the little game and this game was used as a war exercise during the time of Mahabharata. Apart from this, people are also enjoying Bhandara in Shoolini fair.
In the second cultural evening, Himachali artists entertained the people a lot. Health Minister Dhaniram Shandil was specially present in the cultural evening. Shandil said that the three-day fair is going on amicably and during this time people are fully enjoying the cultural evenings and sports competitions.
The traditional little dance that we are going to participate in, and literally the name of the ground is also derived from this because only a little was played here.
