Association’s president Kishan Thakur said that there have been many accidents involving tourists in the valley, due to which proper steps need to be taken to save them.
He said that many times the tourists going on trekking go astray and also become victims of accidents. In such a situation, it is necessary for tourists to take a guide with them so that they can be saved from accidents.
Kishan Thakur said that information boards have been put up in the Manikarna Valley not to go to the banks of the Parvati river. But despite this, tourists are becoming victims of accidents and risking their lives by getting down on the banks of the river.
