Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is now peaceful and the successful hosting of the G20 meeting in Srinagar has proved this. Targeting previous governments

Shah said that earlier money used to come in Jammu and Kashmir, but it did not reach the person for whom it was meant. How have the leaders here built big houses in foreign countries? What is business? People here should ask how these people go abroad and celebrate 45-60 days holidays during summers? He said that the crores of rupees which have directly reached the bank accounts of the people through DBT, earlier used to fall prey to corruption. He said that if you come to rule and enjoy power, then there is no change. But you are connected with the happiness and sorrow of the people and their progress, only then changes happen. This positive change brought by the Modi government in Jammu and Kashmir is an example of this.

talk on 370

Amit Shah said that Farooq Abdullah Saheb says that India is the mother of democracy, but democracy ends when it comes to Jammu and Kashmir. When his father and grandfather ruled, democracy here was limited to 80-85 people. These people did not allow elections to be held and neither did they allow the panch to choose the sarpanch. He said that but when the Modi government abolished Article 370, then there was a new dawn of democracy in Jammu and Kashmir. More than 32000 Panch-Sarpanch were elected from the general public who are putting development on the ground here. In the coming days, these people will also become MLAs and MPs.
