Sometimes the shape of animals and birds of G-20 member countries is being made with flowers and sometimes with junk. In the Lalit Kala Academy located at Maidan Garhi village, figures of animals and birds have been prepared from iron, household utensils, cylinders, plastic and parts of bikes and cycles left in the form of junk.

An official of Delhi Development Authority said that this figure, made by craftsmen from different states of India, will be installed as a decoration in Maitri Park of Chanakyapuri on May 15.

cast iron national bird of italy

Sukanya, who came from Bhagalpur in Bihar, has made a tree and seven sparrows sitting on it using 400 to 500 kg of iron scrap. Sukanya told that this figure is based on a story. The way sparrows always live in their group, in the same way there are seven sparrows on the tree built here who are talking among themselves. That’s why I have given it the title Gupshup.

He told that our association with sparrow is very high as it is also the state bird of Bihar. We were given 15 days to make it but I made it ready in ten days.

Kuwait’s national animal made from bike parts

Kuwait’s national animal has been prepared at the Academy of Fine Arts. It is made from bike and cycle parts. Gopal of Shantiniketan told that this camel is about 12 feet tall and 200 quintals of iron was used to make it. He told that I have prepared it in eight days. Gopal says that I feel very good by giving my participation in such a big festival of India.

It feels good when the art, hard work and dedication of the last 10 years is useful for the country. Apart from this, Argentina’s national animal puma, South Africa’s national animal springback, India’s national bird peacock, Mexico’s national animal golden eagle and national animals and birds of other countries have been prepared from scrap metal.

Artists will be named all over the world

Gayatri Mathur, regional center in-charge of Lalit Kala Akademi, told that 15 days were given to make these animals and birds, but the craftsman has completed it soon with hard work and dedication. National animals and birds of 19 countries have been prepared here. For this, more than one ton scrap metal was made available by the New Delhi Municipal Corporation.

He told that when these will be installed at West to Wonder Park in Chanakyapuri, the name and description of the artists will be written on each artwork, so that the guests from the country as well as abroad will be able to know them.
