Bilaspur, September 13: The special team of Bilaspur Police of Himachal Pradesh has recovered 9.52 grams of chitta from two youths sitting in a car near Bharari station.
The accused youths were going from Chandigarh to Mandi. On the way, the special police team had blocked the road, during which a car was searched.
During the police search, the youths sitting in the car got nervous, which made the police suspicious. On searching the car, chitta was recovered from inside, which weighed 9.52 grams on an electric scale. Two accused were taken into custody in the case.
The accused have been identified as Mohit Kumar (22) son of Manoj Kumar, village Mandalog, Tehsil Sadar, district Mandi and Ratik Rana son of late Prakash Singh, village Hawani, district Mandi.
DSP Madan Dhiman confirmed this case. He said that a special team of Bilaspur police had set up a blockade near Bharari in the early morning, during which 9.52 grams of chitta was recovered from these two youths. A case has been registered in Sadar police station and further action has been initiated.
