Una, July 17: A 23-year-old youth in Jwar under Police Station Amb in Una district of Himachal Pradesh swallowed poisonous substance due to unknown reasons. Seeing his deteriorating health, the youth was brought to Regional Hospital Una for treatment, from where the doctors referred him to PGI Chandigarh in critical condition. At the same time, the police has also started investigation into the matter.

According to the information received, Niyat Ali, a resident of Jwar, swallowed poisonous substance on Tuesday night due to unknown reasons. Seeing his deteriorating health, the family took the youth to Regional Hospital Una for treatment, from where he was referred to PGI Chandigarh due to critical condition.
DSP Amb Vasudha Sood said that the police is investigating the matter.
