25-year-old soldier from Jogindernagar lost the battle of life, died during treatment

Mandi, September 30: Soldier Vinay Kumar (25) son of Ravi Singh, resident of Pohal village of Gram Panchayat Pipli, which comes under Jogindernagar subdivision, died due to illness. Vinay Kumar, who was posted in 20 Dogra Regiment, had gone on duty on September 10 after finishing his leave.

According to the information received, Vinay Kumar was suffering from jaundice and when his health deteriorated, he was admitted to Military Hospital Jalandhar. During treatment, he died on Sunday evening. Some of Vinay’s family members were present with him during treatment. On Monday, Vinay’s body was brought to his native village where his last rites will be performed on Tuesday with full military honors.

Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Pipli, Indra Singh Thakur has confirmed the death of Vinay Kumar. He said that Vinay was suffering from jaundice due to which he died. The entire area is deeply saddened by this incident. He said that Vinay Kumar was a promising, hardworking, friendly and good-natured boy. After joining the army, whenever he came to the village, he had a good habit of meeting everyone and asking about their well-being. The Pradhan said, today he has left us all and it is not possible to believe this. On behalf of the entire Panchayat, we pay our emotional tribute to such a promising person.

Vinay Kumar was the second among his five siblings. He has an elder sister who is married, while he has two younger sisters and a younger brother. Who has recently been recruited as Agniveer in the Indian Army. Vinay’s younger sister’s marriage is scheduled in January 2025, but before that he said goodbye to the world. Vinay’s father Ravi Singh works as a mechanic.
