In a proud moment for Himachal Pradesh, Anushka, a Class X student of Government Senior Secondary School, Udaipur in Lahaul-Spiti, interacted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026’ programme held in New Delhi on Friday.
The nationwide initiative aims to help students tackle exam stress, anxiety and academic pressure through direct interaction with the Prime Minister.
During the session, Anushka shared how reading the Prime Minister’s book ‘Exam Warriors’ helped her overcome fear related to examinations. She said the book changed her mindset and encouraged her to see exams not as a burden, but as a celebration of learning.
“I now look forward to exams with confidence,” she said, crediting the book for transforming her perspective.
Responding to her, PM Modi encouraged students across the country to read the book and adopt a positive approach toward studies. A total of 36 students from across India were selected for direct interaction with the Prime Minister, with Anushka being the only participant from Himachal Pradesh, making the state proud.
The event was broadcast live in schools nationwide, allowing lakhs of students to benefit from the guidance and motivational session.
The Prime Minister also advised students to maintain a daily diary to track their work and progress. Addressing parents, he urged them not to put undue pressure on children, but instead provide encouragement and support to help them move forward confidently.
