A fresh western disturbance is likely to impact the western Himalayan region from the night of February 8, bringing rain and snowfall across parts of Himachal Pradesh over the next three days.

According to weather forecasts, light rain and snowfall are expected at isolated places in the high hill regions on February 9. This will be followed by light to moderate snowfall at a few places across the state on February 10 and 11, particularly in mid and higher reaches.

While no significant change is expected in minimum temperatures over the next three to four days, maximum temperatures are likely to rise gradually by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the coming days.

The weather department has also issued a warning of dense fog at several places in Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kangra and Mandi districts, which may affect visibility during morning and late-night hours.

Residents and travelers, especially in higher altitude areas, have been advised to remain cautious due to possible snowfall and fog-related disruptions.
