Union Budget 2026 reflects PM Modi’s vision for a strong, self-reliant India: Shrey Awasthi

Shrey Awasthi, BJP State Social Media Co-Convenor, Himachal Pradesh, on Sunday said the Union Budget 2026, presented under the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reflects the government’s firm commitment to building a strong, developed and self-reliant India, while exposing what he termed the opposition’s “politics of negativity and misinformation”.

He described the budget as growth-oriented and development-focused, aimed at accelerating infrastructure expansion, generating employment, supporting micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), empowering youth and strengthening India’s position in the global economy.

“With record capital expenditure and significant investments in technology, manufacturing and connectivity, the government is laying a solid foundation for a future-ready and Atmanirbhar Bharat,” Awasthi said.

He added that while opposition parties continue to criticise reforms and spread confusion, the Modi government remains focused on tangible development and improving the lives of common citizens.

“This budget shows that the government believes in performance, reforms and results rather than empty promises,” he said.

Calling the Union Budget 2026 a “decisive roadmap” towards the vision of Viksit Bharat, Awasthi said it would ensure growth, opportunities and prosperity for every Indian.
